Our darling YingerMegs had it all, including a family who loved him dearly. Then one day, December 14, 2021, YingerMegs was hit by a speeding motorbike and his whole world fell apart.

His family took him to Sunset Vet. We were asked to help as the XRay showed no broken bones but possible nerve damage. For 8 weeks this brave chap endured physiotherapy and acupuncture but his back legs remained the same. There was no movement. Nothing at all.

YingerMegs was a sad little fellow. His roommates, GingerRogers and Evie were so close and they could scramble up the wire doors to their little loft at night, leaving him gazing wistfully.

He had to be toileted 4-5 times a day and spent the daylight hours lazing in the sunshine with Evie but at night, he was on his lonesome. Life hadn’t been kind to YingerMegs and then Jazmina, another paraplegic kitten, arrived! YingerMegs was about as happy as any chap could be. A friend! It was devotion at first sight.

YingerMegs is a dear boy who has little chance of adoption, well none really, because of his injury. He slides around the floors but how he loves to lie on the grass in the sunshine and he spends his nights snuggled with his soulmate, Jazmina.
